A 16-hour Pump 1 Class will be held at station 26 on the weekend of May 19th and 20th with Jay Young instructing.
This is a basic course during which you will learn the proper way to operate and maintain the pumps on our apparatus.
You will also learn about water flow needs, pressures and friction loss for different pumping scenarios. Saturday will be
spent in the classroom and Sunday will be 'hands on' in the field. All active firefighters are urged to attend. Turnout
gear is required.
